Camping @ Zolder ?

Hi
does anyone know a cheaper place to camp than camping termalen ?
Last year @ 24h race we paid 122€ for 2 cars,3 people and 2 nights.
That is a little bit expensive i think. Any solutions for this problem ?
Because less money for camping means more money for beer :D

A few minutes away from the circuit is a camping, direction Bolderberg. Don't know the name at the moment:o I will ask for it ;)

Thanks a lot i think the camping heidestrand is ok ;)
half the price but douche included which is pretty nice.
next question if we have to drive how much alcohol in blood is allowed in belgium ?

bluelite 19-04-2006 22:11

0,5 promille.

marcel 19-04-2006 22:58

that's 2 beers

Belle 19-04-2006 23:08

And the fines are pretty high so I wouldn't exceed that amount if I were you... ;)

Henning 19-04-2006 23:17

more than 2 beers over a day
but another question are that special 24h prices ?

I think that they do increase their prices during the 24 hour race. Last year, I turned my car around and went to sleep at a friend's place nearby after the guy wrote my 'invoice'. The prices are way too high in my opinion.
I remember paying less during the 24 hours of Spa...

After a 6 km walk you are thirsty for a new beer! ;)

Henning 19-04-2006 23:37

That's the main fact. We paid 8€ per person at les combes for the whole weekend at 24h spa. And Belcar 24h are much smaller than the fia gt 24h.
But i think i will try to get parkingtickets for the paddock. I think that is the cheapest and easiest way to go.
I think 6km are to much to walk after a party with the rhino's gt :D

We @ wheels stay open all night so then you don't have to sleep and you will be able to drink a lot of beers :D
