World champion Michael Schumacher and Brazilian team-mate Rubens Barrichello have agreed new contracts with Ferrari, the Italian Formula One stable announced Tuesday.

German ace Schumacher has extended his stay until 2004 while his South American team-mate has been confirmed for next season only, which will become his third year with Ferrari.
