Toekan races op 7 maart 2002
En het is zover : de "mistery" car is bekend !!!
Het betreft een Mercedes CLK GTR (ex-Keke Rosberg team) !!!
Meer informatie hierover later !!!





Zoiets dus!!! En daar mogen wij een kwartier lang mee meerijden!!! Lucky us!!!

We weten wat er met dat model gebeurd is op LM 1999. Een te lange neus, een slechte aerodynamice, en een paar bubbels op de weg. Daardoor had de wagen ongewenste eigenschappen.

deze was die op Le mans er al na 4 uur allebei uitlagen.

Dit monster dateert uit '97. Hierin werden Bernd Schneider en Alexander Wurz kampioen in de FIA-GT.
Van dit model werd ook een beperkte oplage in straatversie gemaakt. Het is de duurste in serie geproduceerde wagen ooit: 66 miljoen Bef, of zo'n 1,64 miljoen Euro.

De opvolger, de CLK-LM moest het ook waarmaken in Le Mans '98, maar dat werd een fiasco. Beide wagens vielen zeer snel uit. Klaus Ludwig en Ricardo Zonta werden wel kampioen in de FIA-GT.

In '99 kwam dan de laatste evolutie, de CLR. Wat er daarmee in Le Mans gebeurd is, weten we nog allemaal.

Nog vergeten te zeggen wat ik er van vind om er te mogen mee meerijden. Het is maar ne Mercedes maar toch: YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES.

Nog een vraagje. En misschien niet minder belangrijk : van wie is die auto ? Gaan ze er mee rijden in één of andere competitie ? En zo ja, welke ?

Mijn god jongens, wat een mazzelpikken en oh, wat gaat dat voor een foto's opleveren.

Werner & Sennake met een doodsverachtig op hun gezicht Jongens, ik zal inzoomen bij het insturen van de eerste linkse

Maar nu effe zeuren, Rosberg heeft toch nooit deelgenomen aan FIA GT races met zijn team. In die jaren reed zijn team toch in het STW? of ben ik nu helemaal in de bonen?

Competitie, ik denk geen belcar..helaas

zie regel 4 tech. reglement "4. Wagens die ooit behoorden tot de FIA-groep C, de FIA-groep GT1 of de FIA-groep Sportscars, of daarmee gelijk te stellen klassen in andere disciplines waar ook ter wereld en die nadien niet anders werden gehomologeerd, komen niet in aanmerking. "
