Dallara Nissan team KTR is not expected to field belgian driver Bas Leinders in the Spanish-based series this year. The pair raced together in the F3000 International 2001, but Leinders has been unable to find sponsorship. KTR boss Mollekensis expected to announce his driver line-up, wich will probably include Argentinian Nicolas Filliberti, this week. Tja, als ik me goed herinner was Leinders altijd sneller dan die Filliberti in de F3000..........m.a.w. het was de cheque die het hem deed  Trouwens benieuwd hoe Mollekens en PSI dit weekend presteren op Silverstone.......... kan er eens heel voorzichtig gelijk worden gemaakt tussen FIA GT en Belcar

pitstop.tv bracht vandaag het nieuws dat Filiberti zoiezo niet in aanmerking kwam voor het 2de zitje; want dat zou naar een of andere Braziliaan gaan. En de sponsoring van Bas Leinders was voor 99% rond; er moest maandag enkel nog een handtekeningetje gezet worden door een sponsor zodat een officieel bericht nog eventjes op zich laat wachten.
Geen idee wat de bron is van autosport, maar het andere bericht lijkt me toch wel een stukje betrouwbaarder. Conclusie: zelfs een blad als Autosport kan vaak geruchten posten die absoluut niet blijken te kloppen; nooit blindelings geloven wat eender welk tijdschrift publiceert dus...maar dat wisten we al langer dan vandaag ;-) Inderdaad, ik kijk ontzettend uit naar FIA GT... Go Kurt! (wie is trouwens ook alweer zijn co-piloot daar?)

PSI rijdt zo rond de 10de plaats in elke training. Zijn zo'n 3 tot 4 sec. trager dan de pole. Maar zijn zeer zeker niet de traagste GT-2 , twee vipers en twee 550's zijn nog langzamer.
PSI Belcar 2002 was gelijk aan FIA GT Zolder 2001. Ze zijn nu 3 tot 4 sec. trager, mag je dan concluderen de FIA GT dus 3 tot 4 sec sneller is dan vorig jaar? Zo ja, dan zijn FIA GT en DTM qua tijden even snel. Volstrekt geen samenhangend verband, maar toch resultaten FIA GT http://www.mks.fr/SRW/ListeC.asp?Nomfich=GBR1&Numral=1
