de briten zijn aan het overwegen om het belcarreglement over te nemen voor het "britisch GT kampioenschap", dus ook een mengeling van gt's en toerisme.

Zou wel tof zijn, dan kunnen we in 2004 eindelijk eens naar engeland met de belcar, zie je het al gebeuren, de belcar en britisch GT samen in 1 wedstrijd op silverstone...........

De tendens voor langere races in de britse GT's wordt in 2003 al gestart, de race op Spa zou echter maar 40 minuten duren.

De droom voor een aantal engelsen op dailysportscars ligt daarmee in diggelen.

De supermeetings voor 2003 zijn bevestigd door de RACB, met Belcar, FRenault, Clio, Yaris en Mini.
Pitstop.tv had het dus toch blijkbaar bij het rechte eind begin november.

Sinds onze eerste berichtgeving over de Supermeetings is er zo goed als niks meer veranderd aan het format, zijnde
4 cups + Belcar + 4 cups op zondag.

Er worden 6 van die Supermeetings gehouden.

Meer info, je weet wel.

toch lekker niet, ze doen wel de 1000 km, trouwens waarom hebben we nog geen definitieve inschrijvingslijst Belcar 2003 met startnummers en piloten ?

Stond wat over in de autosport, de "Belcar BMW engined Mini Cooper" zou mogen meerijden in de Cup-class in het Britse GT. De GT en GTO gaan samen in 2003........de nieuwe klasse wordt de Cup klasse.

Wat mag er mee rijden in de Cup Class: Clio V6, Lotus Elise, Audi TT, Vauxhall VX220, Cobra Clones, Morgan's Aero S8, TVR tuscans........................


minimaal 750 kg en max 0.29 bhp / kg...........houdt dus in dat ze nooit sneller zijn dan GT (GTA) wagens........hoogtstens met net zo snel als de langzamere GTO (GTB) wagens.............

Dat Longin in de Porsche gaat rijden, zou mij niet verassen.

Hij heeft uiteraard in een interview met autonews gezegd dat hij graag Belcar en FIA-GT met een Porsche zou rijden, omdat het niet altijd simpel is om van soort wagen te wisselen (Belcar Viper en FIA-GT Porsche).

Natuurlijk staat dit nog niet vast (publiek toch niet), we zullen het wel vroeg of laat te weten komen .
