Zojuist met verbazing gekeken naar het Champcar journaal op TV Drenthe. 20 minuten goede TV! Een coureur die de kijkers het verschil uitlegt tussen motors en auto's op een circuit. F3 deelnemer Recardo Bruins en Frits van Amersfoort die een mooi item hadden. Interview met Miss Legge. Beelden van de eerste kwalificatie, nawoordje met Doornbos!
Regionale TV, het was gewoon goed! TV Drenthe en promotor Lee van Dam hebben dat mooi geregeld. Zoiets moet volgend jaar op de beide Limburgse lokale zenders. Al enkele dagen hebben ze daar zo'n champcar-journaal. Toppunt? Voor het Champcarjournaal was de lokale weerman te zien met zijn dagelijkse praatje. Ook daar aandacht voor de Champcars, ze hadden zelfs de weerkaart voorzien van een extra naam. Naast Assen kon je ook lezen Dutch Champcars Zo'n klein detail, maar wel een teken ze ermee bezig zijn.

TVL heeft wel in de loop van het champcar weekend Jan Heylen in hun dagelijkse talkshow gehad. Dus ze hebben wel iets gedaan.

Heylen heeft voor zover ik weet nooit een wedtrijd gereden in Assen. FIA F3000 en Renault Meganes zijn daar nooit geweest, idem dito de Britse FFordjes. Wel het Duits F3 in 2004 maar toen reed Heylen nog in het FIA F3000.

 Bron: www.champcarworld.net Marshals in Assen, ik zou daar toch niet gaan zitten. Legge wist haar wagen al dwars te zetten in Zolder, tussen 2 vangrails. Op deze foto is trouwens ook een stuk van haar voorvleugel weg.

 heylen momenteel 4de en is nog aant aanvallen  terwjl doornbos pas op p11 rijdt.. te hopen blijft het droog, want heylen rijdt nu echt mee met de top !!! als het nu begint te regenen is weer heel de strategie enzo door elkaar.. je kan de race via live stream volgen op de pc
