Verderop in het stukje worden enkele namen genoemd die in aanmerking komen voor de twee MG's. Een Brit en een Duitser om het eerlijk te verdelen Voor de UK: Herbert of Blundell, voor groot Oost-Nederland Timo Scheider of Marcel Tiemann. Een derde wagen behoord tot de mogelijkheden. Er zijn drie Engelse en drie Duitse teams in de running om de wagens in beheer te krijgen maar een inzet door Zytek zelf is ook mogelijk.

"The green light" voor dit project zou niet meer beinvloed kunnen worden door de eventuele Chinese overname en/of investering in MG.

Wat nu komt is internet tamtam, volgens "insiders" zou de basis van de MG bestaan uit "oude" DTM Mercedes wagens van 2003/2004.

De geplande test is dan maar vervangen door een koffieklets van alle piloten en Joest personeel

De Autosport bronnen hadden dus gelijk.

Er wordt ook bevestigd dat de MG aangedreven zal worden door een Zytek 4.0 V8. De schetsen zijn er mooi uit.

In Nederland valt 29 maart op een Dinsdag, misschien dat het in Belgie anders is?

Het MG persbericht spreekt over 500 pk. Dat lijkt mij wel heel straf want de andere constructeurs halen maar iets van 470 pk uit hun V8.
