De grote wijzigingen (bv. standaard monocoque, push to pass, etc.) zijn voor 2009 gepland. Misschien kan het sportief reglement als aangepast worden. Ik weet enkel dat Ullrich "meer transparantie" wil, wat dat ook mag betekenen.

Welke MB-coureur krijgt de eervolle opdracht om Albers met zijn Audi het decor in te tikken?

Een seizoen in een 1-jaar oude Audi zou geen slechte carriere move zijn. Formule 1 kan hij vergeten en Champcar heeft een onzekere toekomst. Bovendien heeft hij miljoenen nodig om daar een stoeltje te "kopen". Voor DTM zelf is het ook niet nadelig omdat het DTM in Nederland opnieuw in de schijnwerpers zal zetten. Na het afhaken van Albers en Bleekemolen is de populariteit van DTM enorm verminderd.

dit is denk ik, de beste keuz voor albers.. als hij teminste een contract krijgt bij audi maar ik denk het wel, ik zi hem wel aan de slag gaan in een 2007 wagen ! en zoals dit jaar te zien was, kan je daar aardig wat mee bereiken kijk maar naar larosa, paffett, diresta, rockenfeller en premat vorig aar behaalde zij elk met een 1 of zelfs 2 jaar aude wagen een podium en paffett zelfs een zege !!
dus moest albers terug komen in de DTM, wat hem wel redelijk goed ligt... zie ik hem ook wel enkele keren in de top 5 finnishen met een 2007 wagen !

ik ben trouwens eens benieuwd wie er de 2007 mercedessen gaat krijgen
ik gok op spengler, schneider, paffett en di resta... of misschien green ipv een van deze laatste 3 rijders..

Waarom niet alleen 4 2008 wagens inzetten? Dat is nog goedkoper...

omdat ze enkele wagens nodig hebben om de top wagens van het andere merk te storen in hun strategie enzo tijdens races

  • Abt (2008): Mattias Ekström, Tom Kristensen, Timo Scheider, Martin Tomczyk
  • Rosberg (2007): Mike Rockenfeller, Markus Winkelhock
  • Phoenix (2007): Oliver Jarvis, Alexandre Prémat
  • Futurecom TME (2006): Katherine Legge
Het laatste Futurecom zitje is zoals altijd voor piloot die budget meebrengt. Christian Albers?
